Job summary

ASM Global is seeking an Operations Facility Specialist for The Dayton Convention Center. The role involves preparing for events, performing setup/teardown, cleaning, and light maintenance to ensure smooth operations during events.

The position requires strong customer service, physical stamina, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior event or facilities experience is preferred, with good teamwork and safety awareness throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months or more related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and convert spaces for events, including tables, chairs, walls, stages, and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and transportation of supplies and waste.
• Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks before/after events, including sanitizing and floor care.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting and patching.
• Report safety issues and property discrepancies to supervisor promptly.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
