Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown is seeking a hands-on Banquet Set-Up/Housekeeping associate to support meeting room preparation, coordination of space, and ongoing upkeep. The role involves transporting tables, chairs, and equipment, and maintaining a clean, presentable area for events.

You will follow supervisor instructions, work varied shifts including nights or weekends, and adhere to health and safety standards while delivering guest-ready spaces.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms (round, schoolroom etc.).
• Ability to understand verbal English for requests from supervisor/guests.
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums up to 80 lbs. in a crowded room.
• Ability to push goods on a hand cart up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and reset for next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
