Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX is seeking a part-time Meeting Rooms Attendant to set up, service, and break down all meeting spaces to high standards. Earn $15.00 per hour in a flexible, part-time role.

Responsibilities include transporting furniture and equipment, stocking glasses and water, and resetting rooms for the next function. Adherence to health standards and willingness to perform other duties are required.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Ability to understand English.
• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
• Must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification before beginning work.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications.
• Transport staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc. to meeting rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and freshwater.
• Break down meeting rooms after meetings and return materials to storage for next use.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products and adhere to health standards.
• Duties may be assigned and change as needed by management.
