Job summary

Join Destination by Hyatt Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms as a Set-Up Attendant, supporting banquets with setup and turnover for events. On-call, full-time hourly role with a starting rate of $14.25 per hour plus a service charge.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and offers benefits including room nights, insurance after 30 days, PTO, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• The Set-Up Attendant is responsible for the physical set-up and turnovers of all Banquet events.
• Previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the set up and tear down of all banquet events to include Tables, chairs, and all miscellaneous equipment related to group events
• Move air wall, linen, china, glassware, etc.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Inventory and regular maintenance of banquet equipment, supplies and facilities

Qualifications

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
