Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC, is seeking a Set Up Attendant (Full-time) to support the Banquet team. The role covers the setup and turnover of all banquet events and requires no prior experience.

Description:

The Set-Up Attendant is responsible for the physical set-up and turnovers of all Banquet events. Previous experience is not required.

• Execute the set up and tear down of all banquet events to include
  • Tables, chairs, and all miscellaneous equipment related to group events
  • Move air wall, linen, china, glassware, etc.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Inventory and regular maintenance of banquet equipment, supplies and facilities

Rate of Pay: $14.25/hr + service charge

Qualifications

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
