SUMMARY

The Event Set-Up Supervisor is responsible for supervising the shift Event Set-up team to spearhead the completion of daily tasks and provide a motivating environment for the Event Set-up team that reflects Victory's core values. The Event set-up team provides customer service to the various departments throughout the ministry and school through set-up and tear-down of events, proper care, movement, storage of all ministry property, and maintenance duties. The shift supervisor will act as a reference point for department requests and can bring solutions to opportunities that occasionally arise.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position for a Second Shift Supervisor, which would work afternoon to late evening hours and may include weekend shift responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists Manager in planning, supervising, and monitoring the Event Set-up in daily work orders from set-up, maintenance, and upkeep of all buildings and grounds.
  • Reviews work orders to determine work priorities.
  • Provides support and helps administers all new hire training as well as ongoing training on tools, equipment, supplies and safety.
  • Delegates work projects and reviews work performance according to the specifications of reservations and work requests.
  • Collaborates with Facilities Manager to bring resolve and notice of any employee relations situations regarding performance.
  • Reports employee complaints (grievances) in a timely and efficient manner to the Department Supervisor.
  • Accountable for follow-through with Event Set-up shift by walking-thru the work orders of the department.
  • Efficiently communicates the coordination of duties, scheduling, projects, cleaning protocols and safety issues with the Department Supervisor through daily touchpoints and weekly meetings.
  • Partners with various departments for the completion of all work orders to provide excellence for the events that are provided by the ministry and school.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all company safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Upkeep and maintain the facility to keep it clean and organized daily.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Facilities Director.
