Job summary

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an Entry Level Manager to oversee Event Services (Banquet) operations, ensuring flawless setups, service, and post-event cleanup. You will coordinate with kitchen staff and supervise team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ Event Services or Banquet Captain experience, can work under pressure, and is flexible to weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum Event Services / Banquet Captain experience.
• Ability to oversee event setup and ensure Hyatt standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding regarding food and beverage needs.
• Direct Event Services staff and ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain health, safety compliance and a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in all Event Service (Banquet) activities.
• Supervise room set-ups, service, and clean-up of event functions.
• Assist in scheduling staff for event functions and manage event equipment.
