Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking an Event Supervisor at UCSB to lead all facets of event security operations, manage staffing and credentialing, and serve as the main liaison with venue clients and partners. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and professional service for diverse events.

You will supervise officers, ensure licensing requirements are met, coordinate with law enforcement, and drive continuous improvement in security plans while maintaining strict scheduling and cost-efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old or older as required by local regulations.
• Current CA security license required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of 2+ years.
• Excellent customer service is essential.
• Strong oral and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of event security planning, including staffing, access control, credentialing, ingress/egress strategy, and emergency response planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the venue and client partners on event security matters.
• Develop and implement event-specific post orders and operational plans with clients, local law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of event security officers and supervisors; ensure readiness for each event.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings; assess and improve operations.
