Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring an Event Security Professional in New York. The temporary role may lead to permanent employment and involves welcoming guests, collecting tickets, and delivering superior customer service while helping ensure a safe, orderly event environment.

Shifts include Morning, Afternoon, and Evening, with a pay rate of $18.70 per hour. Must have a high school diploma and a valid NYS Security Guard License; strong communication, de-escalation, and crowd-management skills are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Manage entry, ticket checks, wristbands, and crowd flow.
• Understand policies of different venues and events.
• Greet guests and provide directions or assistance.
