Allied Universal® Event Services at the Alamodome in Texas is hiring for Event Security. The role checks bags, enforces access, and ensures guest safety while delivering friendly customer service. This is a flexible part-time position with weekly pay and a 19+ age requirement.

Starting pay is $16 per hour. The job offers opportunities to grow, with duties from event-day prep to crowd control and directing guests. Licensing requirements apply by state law, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required; may include additional screening for driving company assets.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Control access, verify tickets, wristbands and badges, and direct venue traffic.
• Screen guests at entry with bag searches, metal detection, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests if needed.
• Understand policies and regulations of different venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
