Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Security in Punta Gorda, Florida. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a $17 per hour pay rate, and no experience is required. You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Ability to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access by checking IDs, tickets, and wristbands.
• Screen guests at entry via bag search, wand or metal detector.
• Protect guests, staff and venue assets; respond to security issues.
• Provide escorts for unruly guests when needed.
• Comply with venue policies and procedures.
