Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary by local regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
• Previous experience in event security or related field advantageous.
• Must stand or walk for extended periods with good physical fitness.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
• Willingness to obtain a valid security license if required.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; adaptable and reliable.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence at events.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter incidents and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, and screen entrants.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Coordinate with staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Assist attendees with questions and directions; provide customer service.
• Document and report security-related occurrences to supervisors.
• Uphold company policies and security standards.
