Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer for the Baird Convention Center in Milwaukee, WI. This part-time on-site role requires vigilance, customer service, and collaboration with event staff to ensure safety and attendee satisfaction.

You will patrol, monitor access points, perform screenings, and respond to incidents while upholding company standards and client expectations. Flexible scheduling may be required for events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand or walk for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Strong observational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence.
• Patrol assigned areas and monitor access points.
• Conduct bag checks and entry screenings as needed.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances promptly.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement and medical personnel.
