Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking Event Security to support Marquette University athletics and campus events in Milwaukee. This part-time, event-based role focuses on creating a safe, organized, and welcoming guest experience at basketball, volleyball, soccer, and other Golden Eagles events.

Under supervision, responsibilities include access control, guest screening, patrols, and incident reporting. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with the ability to work in various Milwaukee

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform job responsibilities professionally in a customer service-driven event environment.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to respond to changing information, guest needs, and event conditions, including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and licensing/training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow BEST, university, venue, safety, and work rules and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including directions and assistance.
• Monitor premises and access points to prevent infractions.
• Report incidents or concerns to event leadership.
• Conduct patrols and communicate with security and leadership teams.
• Support entry points through bag checks, screenings, ticket scanning, and credential verification.
• Protect assets and remain engaged throughout the event.
