Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to the standards of the client and BEST.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, perform screenings, and stay vigilant for suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical issues, disturbances, or unauthorized entry.
• Collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to coordinate security efforts.
• Assist attendees, answer questions, and provide directions to deliver excellent customer service.
• Report security incidents to supervisors, law enforcement, or medical personnel.
• Document relevant activities and observations and submit reports to leadership.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain professionalism and security standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary by location).
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in security or related fields is a plus.
• Strong physical fitness to stand or walk for long periods.
• Excellent observational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a valid security license as required.
