Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Event Security professional for Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The role requires patrolling arena property and parking areas, securing doors, and ensuring guest and staff safety during events and move-ins/move-outs.

The position reports to the Security Manager and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be neat in appearance and able to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events and patrol post to ensure safety of patrons and staff.
• Escort disruptive individuals when needed in coordination with security or law enforcement.
• Report incidents to supervisor and complete incident reports.
• Inspect premises for intrusion or tampering and ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside the arena.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms and communicate with team.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients, staff, vendors and guests.

FLSA STATUS: Part-time Hourly, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Event Security for Legends Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Event Security report to the Security Manager and is responsible for patrolling all areas of arena property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises, and securing property during move in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Stand guard during events. Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
• Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at the facility. If necessary, and in conjunction with local law enforcement, escort disruptive individuals off the premises.
• Report incidents to supervisor so incident report can be written.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside of arena.
• Assist in the control of unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations-answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Ensure that every client, patron, and vendor receives the best services possible.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years or older, Graduated from High School or G.E.D
