Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Security professional for its security team. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the General Manager & Event Security and requires a high school diploma and ability to pass a background check.

The position involves patrolling the venue, responding to safety calls, and upholding professional conduct while adhering to security standards. Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to maintain good business relations with all departments and staff.
• Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without loss of composure.
• Ability to exhibit maturity by making sound judgements.
• Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances.
• Ability to participate in all departmental and companywide meetings.
• Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality.
• You must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure.

• Interact with guests, vendors and employees in a courteous and professional manner and complies with all legal and ethical instructions given by the Security Management team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Tasks are performed with moderate supervision.
• Walking and standing occurs 90% of the time.
• Talking, hearing, walking, running, and vision activities occur continuously.
• Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, with possible exposure to inclement weather.
