Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Security professional for Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE. The role supports the Event Services department by patrolling, securing entrances, and ensuring guest and staff safety during events.

Responsibilities include countering disruptions, reporting incidents, assisting crowd control, and responding to emergencies while maintaining a professional standard with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and graduated from High School or GED.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events and tour post to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
• Handle disturbances and escort disruptive individuals off the premises with local law enforcement if necessary.
• Report incidents to supervisor for incident reports.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside of arena.
• Assist during emergencies such as fire, storms, riots.
• Respond immediately to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others.
• Ensure all clients, patrons, and vendors receive the best services possible.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events. Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
• Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at the facility. If necessary, and in conjunction with local law enforcement, escort disruptive individuals off the premises.
• Report incidents to supervisor so incident report can be written.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside of arena.
• Assist in the control of unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations-answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Ensure that every client, patron, and vendor receives the best services possible.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Event Security for Legends Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Event Security report to the Security Manager and is responsible for patrolling all areas of arena property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises, and securing property during move in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events.
