Job summary

Horizon Realty Group is seeking an Event Sales Manager to oversee the complete event lifecycle from inquiry to execution. You will act as the primary liaison for clients, coordinate with vendors and staff, and ensure seamless event experiences at The Crystal Ballroom and other venues in Chicagoland.

The role emphasizes strong sales, organization, and on-site leadership, with base salary plus earnable commissions in a full-time capacity

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience in hospitality or event sales
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient with general computer knowledge and CRM systems (Event Pro a plus)
• Extremely detail oriented and organized team player

Responsibilities

• Own the full event sales process from inquiry to booking and follow-up
• Conduct venue tours, client meetings, tastings, and consultations
• Manage contract negotiations, payments, deposits, invoices, and client accounts
• Plan and coordinate all event details: floor plans, timelines, setup, and documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments and staff to communicate event details and responsibilities
• Coordinate all outside vendors and align with venue policies and timelines
• Represent the venue at marketing and lead-generation events
• Serve as on-site lead for assigned events from setup to conclusion
• Maintain accurate client and event records in Event Pro and related systems
