This is a highly commissioned role and is fully on site.

Summary

As a SPIN Event Sales Manager, you not only sell the experience, but also seek to continually improve it. Your responsibilities include turning inquiries into booked events, actively engaging with clients via phone, email, and social networks to close sales, conducting site visits, entertaining potential clients, and coordinating with the Operations Team to ensure flawless event execution. Essential Functions

  • Respond to all inquiries and convert them into booked events.
  • Bring the experience to life by confidently explaining SPiN's venue features and event packages.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales team goals.
  • Assist the Regional Event Sales Manager in preparing for trade shows, sales missions, and promotional events.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account management and client engagement.
  • Work with clients to plan, coordinate, and ensure world-class event experiences.
  • Cultivate ongoing client relationships during and after events to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Event Sales role.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and work processing applications.
  • Experience with booking software platforms like Seven Rooms or Tripleseat is a bonus but not required.
