First Class Catering Service, a division of Daily Grill Concepts, is seeking an Event Sales Consultant in Palm Desert, CA. The role focuses on generating revenue, booking events, and building strong client relationships from inquiry to closure.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in sales, hospitality, or customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple clients while meeting sales goals. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

The Company boasts 2 different, yet complimentary brands, spanning the spectrum from Upscale Casual Daily Grill to the hip and trendy Public School Gastro Pubs. First Class Catering is a division of Daily Grill Concepts and is based out of Palm Desert.

First Class Catering Service is looking for a highly motivated Event Sales Consultant who loves building relationships, closing sales, and creating exceptional client experiences. If you’re driven by goals, enjoy talking with people, and want to be rewarded for your performance, we want to hear from you.

This is a sales-focused position with opportunities to earn additional income by assisting at catered events.

Job Responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibility is generating revenue and booking events.


• Respond quickly to incoming leads by phone, email, and online inquiries.


• Build relationships with prospective clients and guide them through the booking process.


• Prepare customized catering proposals and close sales.


• Follow up with least quickly and consistently to maximize bookings.


• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.


• Maintain accurate client records and event information.


• Coordinate event details with clients and the operations team.


• Assist with general office duties as needed.


• Help load and unload catering vehicles before and after events.

Job Requirements:

• Must have an open availability including weekends and holidays


• Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressure


• Positive and Professional Attitude


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Must present a Food Handlers card within 30 days of hire


• Must be able to walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist for 4-12 hours/day


• Must be able to push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.


• A proven track record in sales, hospitality, or customer service.


• Is confident on the phone and in person.


• Loves closing deals and isn’t afraid to ask for the sale.


• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple clients at once.


• Has excellent communication and follow-up skills.


• Is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
