Andersen Corp. is seeking an Event & Retail Marketing Team Leader to oversee event and retail promotions in the Greater Houston area. This role requires building and managing a team of promoters who generate leads for design consultants, while working closely with management to achieve performance objectives.

We are looking for Event & Retail Marketing Team Leader to help us grow our business at various event and retail outlets in the Greater Houston area. You will work in the field managing promoters and will build your own team. Our promoters generate appointments for our design consultants. You will work closely with the Event Manager and Retail Manager in building and motivating your team. You need to be organized, energetic, flexible, assertive, engaging have a competitive spirit. You need to be able to train, coach, mentor and inspire your team to meet and surpass performance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, Lead, motivate and train staff in a competitive, high-energy environment.
• Build and maintain a team that can generate leads.
• Daily communication with manager.
• Follow up and measure team performance, generate regular reports (Excel) for management.
• Work in the field at various events and retail locations.
• Set up events when needed.
• Routinely check promoter's performance in the field.
• Role playing with promoters to ensure using script.
• Set an example for work ethic, integrity, team play and professionalism.
• Coach team to reach their full potential.
• Exceed goals and performance objectives.
• Assist in developing and working new opportunities.
• Create schedules.

Experience and qualifications

• Team Leadership - mentoring, coaching and supervision.
