Job summary

Kehoe-Designs in Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to move, store, and prepare props and furniture for events. You will follow directions from the Warehouse Manager and assist with packing, wrapping, and loading goods for delivery.

This role requires basic English, ability to lift 30-40 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Overtime is paid at 1.5x; full-time benefits include health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must understand, read and speak basic English.
• Candidates should communicate clearly with the Warehouse team.
• Ability to read pull sheets and interpret packing instructions.
• Familiarity with proper packing methods is helpful.
• Must supply basic hand tools listed above and be able to use common shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Moves and stores props and furniture for warehouse storage or delivery preparation.
• Wraps, packs, and prepares items for events; assists with loading/unloading.
• Maintains organized, clean, and safe work space free of obstacles.
• Works with team members of varying levels and follows supervisor directions.
