Position Summary

The Event Project Specialist is the driving force behind the successful execution of brand activations at major third‑party and owned events. This role is responsible for overseeing every aspect of event production, from conceptualization and planning to onsite management and post‑event evaluation. The Event Project Specialist ensures that all activities align with brand objectives, maintain high‑quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget. This dynamic position requires exceptional organizational skills, creative problem‑solving, and a passion for delivering impactful event experiences.

Location/Region: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Principal Duties
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize event themes, goals, and activations that align with brand objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of event preparation, such as coordinating with vendors, securing booth spaces, organizing promotional materials, and ensuring logistical needs are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure all logistical elements are seamlessly managed.
  • Ensure events are effectively integrated into overall marketing campaigns to maximize impact and audience engagement.
  • Collect and analyze event data, attendee feedback, and performance metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to deliver high‑quality results within budget.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to align events with broader business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of retail marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and the active lifestyle industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements
  • Able and willing to travel (Travel up to 40%)
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
