EIC (Experience Internship Canada) invites motivated students to join as an Event Project Coordinator Intern in Boston or New York City. You will help prepare and coordinate events for EIC audiences, supporting projects from professional gatherings to community activities with a focus on participant experience.

The role offers an international environment and a supervisor to guide prioritization and skill development. This internship takes place in the United States, in Boston or NYC offices.

Qualifications

• You are studying events, communications, tourism or project management.
• You enjoy organizing projects and coordinating different stakeholders.
• You are thorough when tracking deadlines, budgets and logistical details.
• You are responsive, service-minded and comfortable working with people.
• You are comfortable communicating in English. French is an asset for collaboration with French-speaking colleagues and audiences.
• You can work collaboratively, seek feedback and suggest practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Concept development: contribute to event formats, objectives and programs.
• Planning: map out preparation stages and track deadlines.
• Suppliers: research venues and suppliers, compare proposals and follow up on discussions.
• Budget: prepare estimates and track spending with supervisor approval.
• Communications: prepare invitations, materials and practical information for participants.
• Logistics: coordinate registrations, equipment and speaker requirements.
• Event delivery: support reception, schedule management and responses to unexpected issues.
• Debrief: gather feedback and review participation, costs and potential improvements.
