Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
  • 1-year food and beverage experience.
  • Strong negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
  • Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members.
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems (such as Salesforce or similar event management software).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution.
  • Act as liaison between customers and hotel sales teams.
  • Supervise during execution of meetings, banquets, events, and conferences.
  • Serve group and catering customers proactively, managing group room blocks, food & beverage, and billing processes.

Overview

Join our team as an Event Planning Manager - a creative and detail-oriented professional role. In this Event Planning Manager role, you will coordinate all aspects of events, from initial planning to execution, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience. The Event Planning Manager acts as a liaison between customers and hotel sales teams, providing direction and supervision during execution of meeting and banquet functions, events, and conferences. Will be available to customers during event to solve problems and suggest alternatives to previous arrangements. They will directly serve group and catering customers in a proactive manner working with the logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, public meeting space, and billing processes.
