Job summary

LAZ Parking in St. Louis, MO seeks a Part-time / Event-based Parking Attendant to support safe vehicle and pedestrian flow, provide friendly front-line service, manage access points, direct vehicles, and enforce site rules.

Duties include guiding guests to spaces, monitoring reserved/ADA areas, handling payments, operating gates and equipment, and reporting incidents. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public.
• Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills (if collecting payments).
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles entering/exiting lots, garages, and event zones to maintain safe traffic flow.
• Guide guests to available spaces and manage overflow/alternate lot routing.
• Greet patrons, answer questions, and provide directions to parking areas and exits.
• Collect payments, scan/validate tickets, issue receipts, and support mobile/QR payments.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic equipment (radios, handheld scanners, gates).
• Document incidents per policy and maintain a clean work area.
