Job summary

Rip City, operators behind the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter, is building a new in-house parking team. As an Event Parking Flagger, you will direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic across campus, ensuring safety and smooth flow during events.

This part-time position offers evening and weekend shifts and requires strong customer service and teamwork. Candidates should be 18+, able to stand for long periods, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand and move for several hours.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.
• Professional and courteous communication and interaction with guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of equipment in their area.
• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic; communicate crossings safely.
• Assist guests and staff with directions to garages and parking locations.
• Direct traffic and pedestrians safely and efficiently.
• Manage lot capacity and report to supervisors during events.
• Handle load-in and load-out for events and loading dock flagging.
