Job summary

The JDK Group is seeking a Warehouse Packing Crew Member for a part-time, 20–24 hours per week role, with potential for full-time and benefits. You will prepare, organize, and move event equipment, décor, and supplies for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position requiring reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. Prior warehouse or events experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, event, or catering environment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Forklift certification is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare event equipment, décor, and supplies based on packing lists and event timelines.
• Ensure all items are clean, complete, and ready for transport.
• Load and unload vehicles, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Restock returned items and maintain warehouse organization.
• Operate cargo vans and box trucks for deliveries and pickups (training provided).
• Communicate with warehouse, operations, and event managers to meet event schedules.
• Assist with inventory tracking and warehouse upkeep.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Support a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse that helps the entire team succeed.
• Be part of a cross-trained warehouse team by supporting laundry, dish, rental, and event departments during high-volume periods.
• Adhere to safety standards and report inventory issues.
