Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates is seeking an Event Manager to lead our food and beverage team during events. You will assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times.

The role requires 1+ year in a similar role, a College Degree or relevant work history, and Texas TABC plus Food Handlers licenses. Part-time weekends/evenings; $18-$22/hour; 401k with 4% match.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a similar event-management role.
• College degree or applicable work history; Texas TABC and Food Handlers licenses required.
• Able to lift 30 lbs; stand/walk 8-12 hours.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify participation; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training banquet staff (Bartenders, Servers, Dishwashers).
• Coordinate clock-in and clock-out procedures for banquet staff.
• Schedule hourly staff for events at the venue and maintain proper staffing.
• Execute BEOs to ensure 5-star reviews and exceptional service.
• Lead set-up and breakdown of all event spaces per BEO.
• Maintain venue cleanliness pre- and post-events.
• Procure and order event supplies and oversee delivery and quality control.
• Enforce company standards, policies, and procedures.
