Job summary

Diamond Baseball Holdings, owner of the Omaha Storm Chasers, seeks a Special Events Coordinator for Werner Park in Papillion, NE. You will coordinate non-baseball events, manage CRM records, and act as event manager on event days to drive client engagement and revenue.

Candidates should have a degree in Event Planning or related field, strong communication, and the ability to work long hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Event Planning, Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and database programs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business.
• Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of customers and prospects using CRM software, TripleSeat.
• Coordinate selling, booking and contracting of special events through TripleSeat.
• Assist with maintenance of Werner Park event calendar.
• Act as event manager at Werner Park on event days.
• Coordinate reports after events, including satisfaction surveys.
• Meet or exceed budgeted yearly department, sales and event goals.
• Build relationships with clients to secure events at Werner Park.
• Research and manage list of potential new partners.
• Lead ballpark tours to close business.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and prospects.
