The iconic Caribe Hilton is seeking an Event Manager to join their team! Enjoy ocean and tropical garden views at one of Puerto Rico's most renowned hotels. Located on a secluded peninsula with 17 acres of lush foliage, this resort is between historic Old San Juan and the vibrant Condado area. No passport required for US citizens, making it an easy Caribbean getaway.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hotel experience, flexible availability, and a proven track record of repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Maximize Meeting & Events sales through upselling
• Ensure high standards of event management and build relationships with clients
• Implement strategies to optimize meeting and event space yield
• Build strong relationships with customers, guests, and team members
• Administer reservations and blocks accurately
• Coordinate Function Sheets with Food & Beverage and billing details
• Meet and greet clients during events to ensure satisfaction
• Support Food & Beverage and reservations teams with information
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and operations teams
• Attend sales events as needed
• Contribute to business plans to meet targets
• Support the hotel's selling strategy and uphold high service standards
• Process invoices with proper documentation
• Understand the local market and implement competitive strategies
