The Toledo Zoo is seeking a Full-Time Event Manager to plan, coordinate and execute a wide range of events from weddings to concerts. This role interfaces with clients on catering, decor and entertainment options, handles contracts and deposits, and coordinates across Catering, Production and Development teams.
You will use event systems to manage calendars, respond to inquiries, and support ticketing through Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

The Zoo also prides itself on providing excellent experiences to clients and guests through our Group Sales department. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Event Manager to join our team and make certain our guests at the Zoo have the best experience by managing events and assisting with event details.
The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events including weddings, proms, private parties, holiday gatherings, revenue generating events and concerts. Key responsibilities include conducting sales and events walk-throughs, final detail meetings, and day-to coordination to ensure smooth execution. This role involves working closely with clients on event logistics such as catering, menu selection, bar service, décor and entertainment options, while also handing contracts, deposits, and communication with internal teams including Catering, Production, and Development.
The Event Manager will serve as a liaison between clients and staff, operate event systems, and assist with ticketing through Live Nation and Ticketmaster. This role will maintain event calendars, respond to inquiries, manage facility coordinator as needed, and prepare reports and forecasts. This position reports to the Director of Group Sales. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and requires forty hours per scheduled work week.
