Event Manager (Finance)
This Events Manager is responsible for managing campus-wide scheduling, planning, and implementation of meetings, events, and conferences at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. The Events Manager leads strategy and planning for high-profile events and fosters partnerships with campus staff, faculty, technical services, student staff, facilities, public safety, and catering. Reporting to the Associate Director of Event Management, this position assists in planning all aspects of USF Sarasota-Manatee events, primarily on campus, with occasional off-site events. Nights and weekends may be required.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and four years of experience, or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to eight years.
FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree.
This position may require a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check.
