Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Event Planner to support our full-time Event Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of events across the organization. This is an as-needed role, ideal for a flexible professional with a passion for logistics and event coordination who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Support the full-time Event Manager with pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, catering, and other personnel logistics.
• Help manage timelines, budgets, and event milestones.
• Assist in venue and vendor research, selection, and communication.
• Contribute to event marketing and communications in alignment with branding guidelines.
• Participate in post-event evaluations and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in event planning, coordination + management experience in large, complex, enterprise environments
• Must possess full lifecycle medium-large scale event management experience to include the following responsibilities:
• Personnel logistics management (transportation, lodging, catering)
•Venue(s), vendor(s) and supplier(s) selection
• Venue assessment + analysis + recommendations (inclusive of audio visual needs)
•Hotel accommodations + recommendations
• Dining assessment + recommendations
• Must possess strong project management experience to include the following:
•Managing budgets and timelines
•Milestone tracking + support
•Measuring event success through KPIs and feedback
•Resource planning
