Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Project Team Driver 2 to support event logistics, warehousing, and equipment delivery at our Asheville site. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, setting up rental items, and maintaining inventory during peak event seasons.

The position requires prior event setup experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Approximate 20–29 hours/week with competitive pay and benefits consistent with Biltmore standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of event setup and logistics experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing world class guest service.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck, load/unload items, and secure cargo.
• Provide friendly, professional service to internal customers and guests.
• Pull, sort, pack, and place equipment on racks per standards.
• Set up rental equipment and verify quality upon arrival.
• Maintain warehouse organization and perform routine cleaning.
• Assist with exhibit installation/strike and maintenance.
• Follow directions from managers and staff; support field projects as needed.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, carts, pallet jacks).
• Ensure items meet company standards and perform repairs if needed.
• Support in-field installations and client-build requests.
