Job summary

The Biltmore Company is seeking an energetic Event Work Crew III to support Special Events on the Asheville estate. This full-time role will lead specific tasks like tent installation, deliveries, power/lighting, and exhibition work while coordinating with event supervisors and other leads.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of event-related experience, and strong guest service skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required; additional training preferred.
• Proven guest service orientation and ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, with good judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan upcoming event needs with EL and/or SES Supervisor.
• Maintain event inventory control (both delivered and returned).
• Ensure inventory is in good condition and available for rental; follow safety procedures.
• Keep warehouse/shop clean, safe, and organized.
• Load/unload orders weekly; complete warehouse and vehicle checklists.
• Assist with Estate Exhibition/Special Event Installation/Strike.
• Possess basic knowledge of household/commercial power; follow safety rules.
