Job summary

Legends Global, operating Mohegan Arena @ Casey Plaza, seeks a Kitchen Supervisor to lead line and prep cooks in a fast-paced arena kitchen. You will ensure proper setup, food storage, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards, while coordinating with the Executive Chef and other staff.

The role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on efficiency and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of culinary experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills including MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Line Cooks and Prep Cooks ensuring proper setup and breakdown of service areas.
• Ensures that all food items are covered, dated, and correctly stored.
• Ensures that all goods are stocked before each event and uses food preparation tools appropriately.
• Closes the kitchen correctly following the kitchen stations checklist.
• Mentors staff to maintain high service standards and safety practices.
