Job summary

Encore Event Center in Strongsville, Ohio, featuring Via Roma, is seeking an Event Dishwasher to keep the kitchen clean and organized during weddings, corporate events and performances.

You will scrub and load dishes, assist with food prep as needed, and help with event cleanup and back-of-house duties. This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Evenings and weekends required, with some day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Reliable with tasks and able to memorize routines.
• Able to work in crowded event environments.
• Day shifts and events may be required.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, sort, and load dishes into the dishwasher.
• Monitor wash cycles and unload dishes, store them properly.
• Sweep, scrub, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Bag and dispose of trash regularly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and available.
• Assist with food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed.
• Handle delicate tableware to avoid breakage.
• General cleaning and upkeep of dish rooms and kitchens.
• Event dishwashing and back-of-house cleanup.
