Job summary

Proof of the Pudding in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time kitchen team member to prepare and cook high-quality items for events at football venues and other venues in our expanding area.

You will follow health and sanitation procedures, manage temperatures, label and date products, and support multiple stations as needed in a fast-paced environment. Prior food prep experience is helpful; hours may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written and oral direction.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
• Ensure the proper rotation, labeling and dating of all products.
• Working knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
• Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions.
