Job summary

BBJ La Tavola, based in Chicago, seeks a Customer Service Specialist to act as a liaison between customers nationwide, answering product and service questions, processing orders, and preparing correspondences to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will support the Sales team with quotes and contracts, assist showroom guests with linen selections for their events, and recommend offerings based on event design needs. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Service clients participating in online chat and field questions.
• Answer phone calls to assist customers with inquiries.
• Support Sales team with quotes, contracts, and follow-ups.
• Assist showroom customers in selecting linen options for events.
• Collect event information and analyze design needs to recommend products.
• Take payment information and other pertinent details (addresses, phone numbers).
• Open customer accounts by recording account information.
• Clarify complaints, identify causes, propose solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
