Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter is seeking a Special Events Intern to assist with various fundraising initiatives. Located in Atlanta, GA, the internship includes tasks such as coordinating events, conducting outreach, and working with community leaders. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in college with good communication skills and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This role offers invaluable experience in non-profit work and aims to introduce students to the field of development and fundraising. Interns will work up to 35 hours weekly and receive course credit.

Qualifications

• Student must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is required.
• Class standing of at least a junior level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of fundraising events.
• Conduct outreach related to events.
• Recruit and build relationships with volunteers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Development Coordinator.
