Job summary

Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is seeking a Part-Time Facility Attendant in Olympia Fields, IL 60461. The role opens and closes the facility for after-hours events, ensures rental policies are followed, and handles setup, takedown and cleaning for rentals.

The district aims to enhance quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities. Ideal candidates will provide friendly, reliable customer service, arrive early, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills.
• Clear and effective communication.

• Basic cleaning and custodial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to our guests.
• Arrive 30 minutes before assigned meeting time.
• Must not leave building unattended during shift.
• Sign and complete a facility attendant report after events.
• Be visible and provide excellent service to participants.
• Communicate any concerns or needs to supervisor.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Leave the facility ready for the next day’s events.
• Follow all Safety Manual policies and procedures.
• Evening and weekend work required.
• Other related duties as assigned.
