Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Event Day Beverage Coordinator to oversee the beverage warehouse operations for arena events. You will supervise staff, ensure correct setup, manage inventory, and coordinate with premium departments to deliver smooth service.

The role requires supervisory experience in beverage or front-of-house operations, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service. On-site work during Penguins games and other events is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Beverage or Food Supervisory experience or related work.
• Prior Front of House food service operations experience is required.
• Completion of standard Aramark & PPG Paints Arena trainings including Alcohol Training, Safety Topics, Customer Service, and Cash Handling.

Responsibilities

• Close the warehouse at the end of each event.
• Identify and address issues with Beverage Supervisor.
• Assist Beverage Manager in event shift prep.

Position Summary

The Event Day Beverage Coordinator is an event based position that directly oversees the execution and general operation of the bevergae warehouse according to the standards set forth by Aramark & PPG Paints Arena. The Event Day Beverage Supervisor focuses on the maintenance and operational aspects of each of the beverage areas. The Event Day Beverage Coordinator reports directly to the Beverage Supervisor and will directly oversee the Beverage Warehouse staff as well as work with the other Premium departments to ensure the operation is runnig effectively for each event.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee general operation of the warehouse area on event days
• Supervise all warehouse and beverage related staff
• Verify that the set-up of each service area is preparred for the start of the event
• Assist with the process as orders are placed in the suites
• Delegate beverage runs to the event day employees for suites
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory tracking system for each of the cartering areas when needed
• Complete necessary inventory paperwork for each event
• Maintain inventory control and accountability of product
• Supervise and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the beverage warehouse
• Ensure the beverage warehouse is closed at the end of each event and staff has returned any relative keys
• Actively identify issues & correct potential concerns
• Actively respond to & assist with customer concerns, questions, or issues
• Assign side-work & closing duties to staff as needed
• Oversee & Verify accurate close out of serice locations
• Oversee & Verify accurate collection of restock information
• Ensure timely and accurate recognition of any event staff, particiapte in recognition or reward as needed
• Identify & communicate relevant or potential performance issues with Beverage Supervisor
• Assist Beverage Manager as needed in preparring for each event shift
• Other duties & functionns as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Essential Requirements

• Must have flexible availability and able to work all Penguins games inclduing non-hockey events
• Adhere to all established policies of the employee handbook
• Adhere to all established position performance requirements
• Lift, Move, & Carry up to 75lbs.
• Ability to Bend, Reach, & Stretch as needed for service to guests and cleaning & maintenance
• Supervior skills in organization, detail orientation and thoroughness of task completion
• Supervisor skills in customer service and personal interactions skills
• Basic Math, Reading, and Keyboarding skills including PCs and telephones
• Must be knowledgeable of food preparation techniques
• Must be able to stand and walk during enite shift

Required Certifications/Education/Experience

• At least 1 year of Beverage or Food Supervisory expereince, or other relevant experience
• At least 1 year of prior experience in Front of House food service operations
• All standard Aramark & PPG Paints Arena trainings, including:
  
  • Alcohol Training
  • Safety Topics (HACCP, ServSafe, Environmental Awareness, Safe S.T.E.P., Personal Hygiene & Health, etc.)
  • Customer Service
  • Cash Handling and Point of Sale Systems
