Job summary

Legends Global in California (Inglewood) is seeking a part-time event staff assistant reporting to Human Resources. You will support game-day operations, help with scheduling for Game Day staff, hand out uniforms and lunches, and assist with staffing temporary labor.

This role requires the ability to stand long periods, work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, provide reliable customer service, and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with clocking in/out and direct them to locations.
• Launder, organize, and distribute uniforms.

• Support setup/breakdown of check-in areas and meals.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and assist with other tasks as needed.

THE ROLE

The role will report to the Human Resources Department and will primarily assist with event day duties as needed and scheduling preparations for Game Day staff. Passing out uniforms, assisting with handing out lunches. Help with staffing temp labor. Provide Customer Service support for the Customer Service Manager as needed. Must have experience working with large crowds, a self starter and able to show initiative where needed.

Essential Functions

• Assist employees in clocking and clocking out.
• Help direct employees, temporary workers, and NPO’s to assigned locations.
• Launder, organize and distribute uniforms.
• Collect uniforms at the end of the event.
• Set up and break down check in areas, employee meals, and other areas as needed.
• Ensure all associates are following safety protocols.
• Support any other tasks as assigned.

• Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
• Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor.
• Must be able to relay information such as work orders or other messages to and from Directors, managers, supervisors or emergency personnel
• Will be using telephones, two-way radios or text messages accessible plus basic computer skills.
• Must prioritize calls according to urgency and importance

Compensation

$21.71/hr
