Job summary

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew welcomes a role focused on guiding events from initial inquiry to successful delivery at Wakehurst, with regular biweekly time at Kew Gardens. You’ll conduct venue show-rounds, nurture client relationships, and coordinate logistics with staff and suppliers to ensure memorable events.

Applicants should have event sales and delivery experience, be highly organised, and deliver exceptional customer service. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Job description

Working across weddings, corporate events and private venue hire, you'll oversee the customer journey from initial enquiry through to successful event delivery. You'll conduct venue show-rounds, manage client relationships, coordinate event logistics and work closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

We're looking for someone with previous experience in event sales and event delivery, alongside outstanding organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be proactive, enthusiastic and confident managing multiple priorities, with the ability to build strong relationships and create memorable experiences for our clients and guests.

This role will be primarily based at Wakehurst, with one day every fortnight spent at Kew Gardens to support collaboration across the wider Venue Hire team. Regular evening and weekend working will be required to support event delivery.

Interviews provisionally scheduled for week commencing 19th October.

This role is based at Wakehurst with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary for this position is £29,451 - £30,192 (pro rata), depending on skills and experience [Grade 3]
