Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Conversion Supervisor to oversee daily conversion operations for events, ensuring timely, accurate setup and turnover. You will supervise the conversion staff, collaborate with management during planning, and maintain staging, seating and related equipment across backstage spaces as applicable.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience and 3+ years in conversion/stage production or public venues, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
• 3+ years of conversion/stage production or public venue experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise conversion operations
• Supervise the conversion staff and temporary on call labor
• Work with management staff and department supervisors during event planning stages
• Maintain all staging, seating and bleacher components, the basketball court, hockey dasher systems and installation equipment, as well as backstage equipment and spaces if applicable (i.e. dressing room furniture, coolers, etc.)
• Supervise the routine and process for all daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal duties
• Verify policies including safety, productivity, and reliability are enforced
• Maintain, repair, and restore equipment, systems, seating and bleachers
• Use the tools and procedures provided by the management team to manage inventory and equipment
