Sodexo in Virginia Beach is seeking a Concessions Supervisor to lead event-based concessions operations, ensuring fast service and guest satisfaction. You will oversee on-site stands, kiosks, portable locations, and autonomous retail concepts while supporting staffing, service flow, and inventory.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years' concessions or food service experience, and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in concessions, food service, or event-based operations.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
• Must maintain valid alcohol-service certifications (TIPS or TEAM) or equivalent.
• Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores where applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings reviewing expectations and service standards.
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned; adapt to venue and client requirements.
