Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Concessions Supervisor for California State University, San Marcos. You will oversee on-site concession operations during events, ensuring fast service, safety, and guest satisfaction across stands, kiosks, and portable locations.

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in concessions, food service, or event-based operations.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification.
Food handler certification may be required depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores.
Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and needs.
Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings on expectations, menus, and service standards.
Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
Ability to lift up to 35–40 pounds and maintain regular attendance.
