Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Concessions Stand Lead to provide on-site leadership for an assigned concession stand during events at SAFE CREDIT UNION CONVENTION CENTER. You’ll direct staff, uphold service standards, and ensure efficient operations during high-volume periods while coordinating with the Concessions Supervisor.

Responsibilities include leading staff, addressing guest concerns, communicating needs to leadership, and helping onboard personnel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years of concessions, food service, or customer service experience required.
• Prior lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to lead alcohol service per local/state rules.
• Must maintain TIPS or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with state alcohol training.
• Food handler certification may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-stand lead for assigned concession locations during events.
• Provide guidance and support to staff during peak service periods.
• Address basic guest concerns and elevate issues to the Concessions Supervisor when appropriate.
• Communicate operational needs, staffing issues, or supply shortages to leadership.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
